Kahani Ka Pitara

The Oral History Project of Dharamshala. It was presented as an audiovisual
installation, “Kahani Ka Pitara” in the form of a two-part Radio Documentary. This is a project supported by and done in collaboration with d.r.i.f.t (Dharamshala Residential and International Festival for Theatre). The interviews happened in 2021 and it was first presented as an installation in the d.r.i.f.t 2022 Annual Festival.
The idea was to take it to the nearby villages and to gather more stories. To act as a reminder of how the region used to be in an era of pre-climate change, when water was plentiful and the forests greener.
