Pallavi

I walk, I listen, I document.

I am an artist-educator working across photography, film, and cyanotype to explore memory, place, and lived experience. My practice begins with fieldwork, walking as a way of observing everyday life, and image-making as a way of working with time, light, and material.

I am the founder of Studio Flaneuse (alternative and analog photography studio in Dharamshala) and Delhi Galiyara (a living photo archive of the city seen through the eyes of a flâneuse). Also, the name under which I conducted gender walks in the city.

As Visiting Faculty at NIFT Kangra, I design learning experiences around analog processes, sensory mapping, and embodied storytelling. My community work includes the Khirki Storytelling Project and Khirki Talk Show, supported by Khoj International Artists’ Association.

My work moves between Delhi and Dharamshala, paying attention to gestures, shadows, silences, and the quiet ways everyday life becomes image, memory, and archive.

Open to collaborations, residencies, teaching engagements, and commissions.
